Historic Tombstone, Arizona
If you a merely driving through Tombstone in Cochise County in southeast Arizona, it is easy to dismiss the place as a sleepy desert town. However, just one block west of the main road is one of the most interesting old western villages in Arizona. The area has a dirt road, old western characters dressed and acting as if it really was 1890, historic buildings built during the settlement era, boardwalks with awnings and shops.
